We all seek love, but the problem is that we look for it in other people. Love is a feeling that we generate without needing any external stimulation. Love is an intuitive and inherent feeling that was granted to us by God. If what you’re looking for is love, love everything and everyone intensely, as best as you can. Don’t try to find love in an experience or a romantic relationship; instead, give your very best and love as much as you want to be loved. Every time you’ve felt deep love, it was a feeling created by you and your perception of the situation that sparked that feeling within you. That’s why what we need to improve is our perception. Accepting life as it is—and not as you want it to be—opens your heart to loving the process you’re going through. I invite you, then, to open your heart and accept the gift that life gives you today—which is simply being alive.
